The first product

Loose Ends turns messy work into tracked follow-through.

ChatGPT and Claude can analyze notes once. Loose Ends is different: it turns follow-ups, promises, missing owners and risks into tracked items with SLA timers, status, reminders, history and escalation guidance.

The wedge

Not another chatbot. A follow-up control layer for messy work.

People do not need one more place to ask AI a question. They need a simple system that remembers what was found, what is still open, what is due soon and what should be escalated.

Input

Bring existing work sources

Paste, upload or forward meeting notes, emails, call transcripts, Notion pages, NotebookLM notes, chat updates, support notes or project reports.

Output

Get a tracked action system

Follow-up needed, promise made, missing owner, risk, SLA, freshness, escalation trigger, suggested reply, status and reminder.

What it catches

Small problems with real cost

Forgotten follow-ups

Warm leads, customer questions, partner requests and internal asks that quietly age.

Revenue leak

Ownerless work

Decisions, next steps and blockers mentioned in passing but not assigned to anyone.

Execution leak

Hidden risk

Delays, dependencies, repeated problems and “we should check” items that never become visible.

Management leak
Why not just ChatGPT or Claude?

One-off analysis is not enough.

A chatbot can find action items if you paste notes and ask the right prompt. The missed opportunity is what happens next: tracking status, enforcing SLA, remembering history, detecting repeats and reminding the right person before work goes stale.

Persistent history

Keep a record of open, overdue, resolved, dismissed and repeated loose ends across reports.

Status and reminders

Move items through open, due soon, overdue, escalated and done instead of producing a one-time summary.

Repeat detection

Surface problems that keep coming back across weekly updates, customer notes or engineering signals.

Build strategy

Prove value with a private demo before a paid rollout.

The product should first prove that an MSP manager can see missed follow-ups, SLA risks and repeated blockers clearly enough to pay for a pilot. We keep the first version lean, private and focused on real workflows.

Private working demo

Use sample ticket exports, meeting notes and email snippets to show the report, dashboard, timeline and escalation view.

Paid pilot

Move to a 30–60 day pilot only when an MSP agrees there is enough value in weekly reports, SLA tracking and manager-ready summaries.

Scale-ready operations

Design the workflow so each customer’s data stays separate, reports are repeatable, reminders are reliable and the service can grow without changing the user experience.

Communication model

Never just summarize. Explain the risk, clock and next action.

The real product is not extraction. It is communicating what might slip, why it matters, who should act, how soon, and when it should be escalated. Every loose end should become a decision-ready item.

01 Risk

Low, medium, high or critical based on customer impact, revenue impact, delivery impact and urgency.

02 SLA

Each item gets a response window, due time and status so work does not become stale.

03 Escalation

Clear guidance for when to watch, act, escalate or treat the item as critical.

SLA defaults

Every loose end starts the clock

Customer or revenue risk

Customer questions, pricing requests, proposal follow-ups and frustrated language should usually be handled within 4–24 hours.

Fast SLA

Execution risk

Missing owners, project blockers, waiting-on-someone items and unclear decisions usually need action within 24–48 hours.

Standard SLA

Low-risk follow-through

Documentation updates, improvement ideas and non-urgent clean-up can be tracked over 3–7 days without becoming noise.

Product roadmap

Build the smallest tracked version that can scale.

The roadmap should avoid premature cost, but not paint us into a corner. We start with a private demo, validate through paid pilots, then roll out a secure customer-ready product.

Phase 1 · Private report demo

Show how pasted notes or ticket exports become a Loose Ends report with SLA defaults, risks, owners and a timeline.

Phase 2 · Paid pilot package

Use the local app to run a 30–60 day MSP POC with ticket exports, email/chat samples, weekly reports, SLA risks and manager-ready summaries.

Phase 3 · Customer-ready MVP

After paid intent, provide a secure hosted experience with saved loose ends, separated customer data, due-soon and overdue states, reminder emails and simple status updates.

Phase 4 · Scalable action system

Add audit history, repeat detection, report exports, usage limits, role-based access and human approval before external messages.

Phase 5 · Existing connectors

Import or connect sources like Microsoft 365, Teams, shared mailboxes, Notion, NotebookLM notes, docs, Slack, PSA tools, Jira or Linear without forcing users into a new workspace.
